Anedya Cloud Platform Overview
Above image shows an overview of the anedya platform. The whole platform can be divided into three parts:
Hardware facing services
These are the services to which your devices will connect. These services provide a standardized way to exchange data with anedya platform. Your devices can submit the data and receive commands in real time. There are multiple protocols which you can use to connect the devices:
- MQTT
- HTTP
- CoAP
Depending on protocol there can be variations in features available. For example, MQTT can support real-time commands natively while additional work may be required in your device to fetch commands in real time using HTTP protocol.
Platform and services provided as a part of the platform
Once connected, anedya handles everything for you. Anedya automatically stores and makes data available through APIs. The Platform also manages the lifecycle of all of your devices. Which includes provisioning a new device to decommissioning of devices. With a powerful set of APIs, you can manage all of your devices with high efficiency whether you have a couple of devices to thousands of devices.
